"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening..." ~ Coco Chanel

Historial inspiration...
This is an image of Queen Victoria. Our idea is to take historial references from such images and portray them within our own photographs, through the dress and accessories of the time.
The plan is to create portrait shots, from the shoulders upwards. These will reference traditional portrait paintings but using a relatively modern technology, this ideology will also be enhanced by futuristic make-up. The ideas for the portrayal of the historic eras currently are, having a slight hint of draped material around the shoulders asitiing on the models chest, possibly fixed by a typically per5iod brooch indicating a family heirloom or such, jewellery which also hints and the period nature of the shoot, such as ornate earrings, a delicate necklace on the model's decolletage or a string of pearls (which will also planned to catch the light nicely too, which will also add a modern touch to the portraiture)
Therefore, we need to source appropraiate fabrics and jewellery within charity shops and flea markets, as wet hink these places are most likely to sell such items in a wide variety. These items are typically those who people feel are worthless to them and will not be 'in fashion' any time in the near future...
Here are some reference images...
