Today we are booking the studio *fingers crossed* for Wednesday 16th February...
We have 2 confirmed models and 1 possible model (the 2 aforementioned are an old fellow photography student of Steph's who lives in preston and her current Photography student collegue, they both have modelling experience and should be natural in front of the camera, avoiding the awkward 'use my friend as a model' aesthetic) while the other potential model is a model who Fay has used before as a model in her Fashion Promotion course and is pleased her work.
Jade (hair and mak-up stylist) is confirmed available for Wednesday 16th
Chris Horgan is also available to help out (giving us extra studio hands)
So now...for the studio to be booked! and to start researching the famous figures we want to recreate and then discuss with Jade.
I am meeting Jade this Wednesday evening to run through the ideas so she can prepare what she needs to bring with her, her timings and possibly practise styles on myself. If she does use me to style on, I will post the images on here, to show almost pre-shoot snapshots of Jade's planning.
We all need to source jewellery, hairpieces, fabrics and possibly make some accesories, such as a lace fabric fan, or fabric ruffles to also accesorise the model with...giving strong historical reference as a strong basis in which to build upon with eleaborate futuristic make-up. The historical references need to be the first and most important basis to the images to enable the project to be creatively pushed to more modern areas, to give reasoning to the images and make the images effective and engaging and not looking cheap, rushed and cliched.
