Shoot over!

Very pleased with how well the shoot went!

The day started off with me picking up Jade (she lives in Shropshire like myself) and we caught our first train at 8.05am. Jade had packed her bags extremely well, she brought lots of make-up and hair styling products and tools with her and it all fitted into one handy holdall.

So, we arrived at the Media Factory at a similar time to Steph and we managed to get the key for the Studio (ME 203) half an hour earlier then expected, result! This gave us some extra time for Me and Steeph to start setting up the Studio, along with the help of our assistant Chris Horgan. During this time, Jade was able to set a little make-up and hair corner of the studio with a desk and chair for her to get the day rolling and ready for the first model.

Our first model Jennifer Colvin arrived right on time so Jade got started with her make-up and hair, while Me and Steph were perfecting the lighting and metering for the prefeectly lit background. During this time, Fay and Sophie, the stylists of our group, arrived.

From this point, each model arrived in plenty of time and even though Adriana arrived a little early we kept to the shoot schedule so we could stick to our plan and timings, particularly for Jade's timings on the hair and make-up styling, so Adriana waited while Sarah was made-up, photographed and departed before Jade completed Adriana's make-up and we then photographed her.

All the models arrived in plenty of time for their individual time slot.

Overall, we are very pleased with the outcome of our images! Jade did a brilliant job with the hair and make-up styling. The rest of the styling of the shoot was very minimal with simple, futuristic jewellery. So, the stylists helped out with pose direction. Me and Steph had fun snapping away with the shots while Chris helped with holding a silver reflector and changing memory cards (for me and Steph to distinguish each others photographs, we had a card each) and occasionally altering the cameras for us.
