Futuristic Make-up

These are some inspirational images for futuristic make-up. I am going to show these to Jade to see if she thinks such ideas while be appropriate - to get her opinion on the styling of the project.
These eyeleashes are very extravagant and may be too 'glamour' for such a historically referenced shoot, but they are an idea to give a contemporary and fashionable look to the images. The sparkle is likely to be shown in the shoot such as bronze and gold shimmer to give a regal, rich look while being modern.

I love these jewelled studs and feathers on these faces...The 3D look is very futuristic and I think utilised in the right context and colours within the style we are after then this could look very effective. The rest of the composition is very minimalist but effective...maybe less is more... the post production seems to be impressive on these images, very smooth and well lit faces giving a very polished look.

I have chosen this image above due to the artistic flair used within the make-up technique rather than the colours and overall look. This is NOT the style we are planning in our images! However, I feel it's important to look at artistic and unusual make-up overall rather than just what we are wanting to produce. I believe it is a visual version of 'background reading', being away of what is available, what has been done, what can be utilised and built upon. It's important to be aware of what is happening!

This metallic strip across the model's eyes may be inspiration. This could be a good idea to use on Cat Wilkinson or on Jennifer Colvin as they have nice facial bone structure and good smooth skin, therefore, the attention of the eyes will be attracted by their cheekbones and the metallic make-up texture will not highlight any skin imperfections.
