Studio Booking

After discussing the most convenient weekday as a group and for the model, we have decided on Wednesday 13th April for our actual shoot date.

I managed to book the Digital Studio ME246 for this day, 11am-5pm, keeping in mind that our model is having to leave by around 4.30pm.

Therefore, in order to experiment with the lighting and poses that we want within the shoot, we have booked the same studio for a test shoot which is happening 11am-2pm this Friday (8th April).

Currently, there is only a black background within this studio due to the white version having been damaged nearly two weeks ago and the grey version has been chained up to avoid damage to that one also.

Considering that for our shoot we want a white background and Darren being away on leave at the moment, I have emailed another technician asking whether a white background will be available soon. It is not detrimental for our test shoot but is important for our actual shoot. If we cannot get the lighting that we want on the black background during the test shoot, I think we may need to reconsider our actual shoot. The main studio is not available on this day for the time that the model is available for. However, if we need to reconsider our actual shoot day this runs into the problems of rearranging with Fay and Sophie as they will be going home over Easter for the holidays and due to long distances and their transportation it is not that easy for them to change.

So, we are going to experiment with the lighting this Friday at the test shoot and see what can be done...we want to get the best results for our images and do not want to compromise on the quality of them, but we may just 'have to work with what we have'...
